About Me
Education
In 2021, I was inspired by my sister to attend Axel Makeup Academy as I wanted to learn professional techniques for doing my own makeup. Fast forward several months later, I graduated as a Certified Professional Makeup Artist. My experience at the academy challenged me in every aspect of makeup artistry and professionalism.
Following my graduation, I modeled for 2 professional makeup-artistry courses and assisted in teaching a few classes at the academy. What started out as a creative outlet for me, soon became my passion and resulted in the creation of Mad Looks Makeup.
Passion
Throughout my experience as an MUA, I have come to realize that there are those who feel the same way I used to feel about makeup; who do not know where to begin when applying makeup or think it is too expensive to even dabble.
From brush types and products, to color theory and undertones, there is much to learn about makeup application. However, it can be overwhelming when you look into your makeup bag and do not know how to achieve a simple look. That's where I come in!
Vision
When I am not in full glam with makeup brushes and palettes in hand, I am pursuing my BSN to one day merge my love for cosmetics and nursing by becoming an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. Outside of nursing school, being a MUA is therapeutic for me and serves as a confidence booster. I mean who doesn't love a little glam to lift the spirits?
Like a drug store product working just as effectively as a high end product, I want to offer my clients affordable services that will leave them feeling confident and beautiful as they serve MAD LOOKS.
